“This budget includes $30 million allocated to a for-profit nursing home facility in the speaker’s backyard. That is $5 million more than the new funding to combat the heroin epidemic across our entire state. Try as the administration might to make this process as complicated as possible, budgeting comes down to one thing: priorities. My top priority for this budget was to help suffering addicts win the fight for their lives. We have a lot of work to do before June to save lives and make this right.”
