Trade association trusts Finch to build a better CNY

Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C,I-Springport) has added another pro-business nod to his growing collection of endorsements.

Finch is pleased to announce that the Empire State Chapter of the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) has endorsed his re-election bid in the race for the 126th Assembly District.

“I am honored to earn ABC’s endorsement. Its vision is clear and its message is strong. We believe that New York State needs real regulatory reform so that builders and contractors can flourish,” said Finch. “We need to slash taxes so they can afford to hire hardworking men and women. We need an open, energized business climate where contractors have the freedom to build state-of-the-art hospitals, safe schools and beautiful homes. I will to continue to be a steadfast advocate for these measures.”

ABC paired its endorsement announcements with the release of its 2014 legislative scorecards. Finch earned a perfect score of 100.

“It is always gratifying to have civic-minded, engaged professionals stand behind your record,” said Finch.

“ABC is proud to support candidates who stand up for free enterprise and open competition,” said Empire State Chapter President Brian Sampson.

ABC is a national trade federation that counts 21,000 independent companies in its membership. Seventy chapters help members toil “safely, ethically, profitably and for the benefit of the communities in which ABC and its members work.”

Finch has collected endorsements from other prestigious pro-business groups like Unshackle Upstate and the National Federation of Independent Business. He also received a strong scorecard from the Business Council of New York State, Inc.
